In a commanding performance, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, ranked #7 in the nation, defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 36-21. Quarterback Hauss Henjy led the charge, throwing for 303 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his playmaking ability and solidifying his status as a key player this season.

After a nail-biting runner-up finish in last year's national championship game against Nebraska, where they fell just short at 43-42, the Cowboys are eager to prove they are still a force to be reckoned with. Coach Justin Wright expressed optimism about the upcoming rematch with the Cornhuskers, slated for November. "Look, Nebraska's back in the Big 12, and that just adds fuel to the fire. We know what they bring to the table, but trust me, we ready to show 'em what Cowboys are all about," Wright said, his confidence palpable.

The addition of Nebraska to the Big 12 has stirred the pot, especially following the departure of former head coach "Sweet" James Jones to Michigan. Wright had some choice words for Nebraska’s new head coach, Rodney Saulsberry, calling the move "weak." He elaborated, “I mean, come on, man. You gotta stand tall for your squad. Jumpin’ ship like that? That ain’t how we roll in the Big 12.”

As the Cowboys continue to build momentum, Henjy's performance against Arkansas will surely be a focal point as they gear up for their rematch against Nebraska. With the season still young, the energy in Stillwater is electric, and Oklahoma State is ready to reclaim their spot at the top.

The road ahead is clear: dominate the conference and avenge last year's heartbreak. With Henjy leading the way, the Cowboys are more than prepared for the challenge.
