In a whirlwind week for college football recruiting, five elite prospects have made their decisions, sending shockwaves through the recruiting landscape.
Joshua Hardy - Cornerback, Bump and Run Hailing from Trussville, AL, and playing for powerhouse Hewitt-Trussville High School, Hardy stands tall at 6'2" and 192 lbs. Ranked 24th nationally, 2nd in Alabama, and 5th at his position, he’s committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide. Schools like Oregon, Florida, Georgia, and LSU were also vying for his talents.
Doug Procter - Free Safety, Coverage Specialist From Hightstown, NJ, and a product of Hightstown High School, Procter is a 6'2", 205-lb coverage specialist. He ranks 26th nationally, 1st in New Jersey, and 2nd at his position. Though he chose Michigan, Notre Dame, Penn State, Florida, and LSU were also strong contenders.
Gabriel Streeter - Middle Linebacker, Lurker Louisville, KY's own, Streeter sharpened his skills at Trinity High School. At 6'0" and 216 lbs, he ranks 13th nationally, 1st in Kentucky, and 2nd at his position. While he committed to Kentucky, Louisville, Florida, LSU, and Notre Dame were also on his list.
Mohammad Ijalana - Wide Receiver, Route Artist From Helena, MT, and starring at Helena High School, Ijalana is a route-running virtuoso standing 5'11" and weighing 188 lbs. He's 9th nationally, 1st in Montana, and 3rd at his position. Texas A&M won his commitment over Oregon, Ohio State, Florida, and Texas.
Nate Tavares - Quarterback, Backfield Creator A San Francisco, CA native, Tavares honed his craft at De La Salle High School. At 6'3" and 197 lbs, he's ranked 20th nationally, 3rd in California, and 2nd at his position. Although he chose Tennessee, Notre Dame, USC, Alabama, and Ohio State were heavily in the mix.
These commitments not only impact their respective programs but also shift the balance of power across college football. Each player brings a unique skill set that promises to leave a lasting impact on the gridiron.
